You Don’t Find McDonald’s in the Search
What is the future of America’s largest restaurant chain? Times are bleak at McDonald’s, people are confused by the long menus and not inspired by the food. In a story in the WSJ, Julie Jargon interviewed several experts and a millenial about what it would take to get them to eat at McDonald’s.
The 30-year old, a perfect Mickey D customer, said she and her friends always use Google to search for local restaurants when she is looking for food. they also like local joints, and wanted healthier food. McD doesn’t do that well in local search and lacks that unique personality that is craved.
They want an experience said another marketing maven. “It’s not about the food, but the experience, was the takeaway.
