Logan Utah for a Few Days of Spring Skiing
Skiing in Utah, Home of the World’s Best Snow
Jack Dunphy and I flew out to Logan Utah last night and today we are hitting the slopes of Beaver Mountain, which is in Logan. We woke up to snow, an auspicious beginning, and it makes me hope the drive that looks like it’s mostly uphill will go ok in our rented Honda Pilot.
So far we’ve only gotten a chance to check out our hotel, Springhill Suites by Marriott, which has all double rooms with good sized desks, living rooms, and a nice free breakfast.
One of the best things is that we will stay here for three nights, no moving hotels which always puts me a little on edge.
I’ve written before about how I enjoy being on the road and doing my thing. It is always fun to have Jack with me, because he is an eager travel writer who will take care of the article, while I am going to delve into the new improvements being made at the Salt Lake City International Airport.
It seems like a huge new terminal is being built. We watched the little train that takes people from the city to the airport that passed by as we drove north toward Logan last night.
I’ll share more info about Beaver Mountain later tonight. SkiUtah organized out trip out here.
