Some of my friends remarked that were not happy about the fees that apply when you buy Green River Festival tickets on line. Well, I have the answer but you better hurry!

Today is the last day you can buy the discounted tickets, the price goes up after this. But if you want to save the $14.93 fee (for two tickets) that applies to tickets you by online at Ticketfly, then walk over to Signature Sounds on Masonic St, near Packards. Go to the back door, and bring CASH!

A weekend pass will cost you $59 in cash but there will no fee. You’ll even get an email saying thanks and that you got the tickets there.  If you can’t make it to Northampton, get them online,  and pay the fee, it’s still a great bargain for two fantastic days of music on the beautiful green lawns of GCC.

Here is the line up for the festival, held Saturday and Sunday July 12-13 at Greenfield Community College.

Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band, Lucius, Trampled by Turtles, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Dave Alvin & Phil Alvin with The Guilty Ones, Hurray for the Riff-Raff, Puss’n’Boots (featuring Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper), Ana Tijoux, The James Hunter Six, Heather Maloney + Darlingside, Poor Old Shine, The Iguanas, The Lone Bellow, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band

SEE YOU THERE IN THE SUN!!
