Quth is the Dude who Taught the Terrorists to Hate America

Sayyid Qutb spent time in Colorado in the 1950s and wrote a seminal 30-volume series called “In the Shade of the Quran.” Members of most major terrorist groups including Al Queda revere Qutb’s words and his anti-semetic rants and have formed many of their hatreds of American morals as a result of these books. Bret Stephens writes in tonight’s WSJ about how much more the moral element means to the Arab Street than even the hated settlements.

Imagine, the America that poisoned this Egyption writer’s mind was all before the time of Elvis, Playboy Magazine, the pill, women’s lib and Lady Gaga. Stephens even goes as far as to surmise that the offense of Lady Gaga et al does more to raise the delicate hackles of the Islamists than Jewish settlements on the West Bank.
