Flying to London for World Travel Market Tonight
I’m in a pumped up mood today, as the clock ticks down until my departure for JFK airport for a night flight to London for World Travel Market at the Excel Center. Every time I am about to fly I get that little nervous tick, and as I secure my plug adapters, passport, papers for the show and notes on my meetings, all I can think of is what am I forgetting?
This show has been on my radar for the past ten years. It’s a massive gathering of thousands of travel writers, tour operators, destination representatives and others who work in the industry.
I’ve been told this is the absolute best place to meet business contacts and others I might have already been in touch with…in row upon row of stalls where the meetings take place.
I will share the Brit’s reaction to our loony elections on Weds morning!
