Like Nixon, My Plays Don’t Often Work Out
How does this sound? Chilled Carrot & Coriander soup with coconut creme fraiche. It was my recipe, brought back from being inspired by trying this soup in Newcastle a few weeks ago. I love watching something I had faraway on the menu of the GoNOMAD Cafe.
But like when Richard Nixon famously used to send down plays to the Redskins bench, with limited success, my recipe hasn’t been selling very well. Maybe it’s just too strange.
I am now contemplating my next play…chilled cucumber soup. What do you think?
Will anyone buy cold soup in South Deerfield?

I once had cold pineapple soup and I have to say it was quite delightful!

I think it sounds fabulous.
Perhaps the cucumber soup would taste & feel more summery & refreshing, with fresh dill? yum!
